Objective: To investigate the its related factors on patients with mammary gland tumor before operation and the effect of music and mood relaxation training for intervention the anxiety. Methods: With random-contrast method , we have assessed continuously in 110 patients who will have the operation of mammary gland lump excision or improved radical cure (54 patients with intervention synthetically, 56 with routine treatment). We measure general materials, physiological index(BP,PR,R), state-trait anxiety inventory (STAT), social supporting scale (SSRS ) and Eysenck's personality questionnaire (EPQ ). Results: There is an positive associated of state anxious with trait anxious, EPQ-E,EPQ-N,EPQ-L in one day before operation and negative correlation with social support and EPQ-P. An association of negative correlation is observed between the trait anxious and social support. There are positive correlation between the trait anxious and EPQ-P , EPQ-E , EPQ-N , EPQ-L (p<0. 05). The risk factors of anxiety before operation are the peculiar reason, trait anxious, suckling history, family history of mammary gland lump, age , economic situation , EPQ-N by analysis of multiple linear regression. There are significant statistical difference in systolic pressure and pulse rate result between the two groups one day before the operation and 40 minute after going into operation room.(t=2.879 p<0.01,t=3.73p=0.01).Otherwise diastolic pressure and breathing are not statistics difference(p>0.05);It is remarkable difference in state anxious between different times and groups by repeated measure with analysis of variance (Time:F=16.942 P<0. 01; Groups: F=6.951 P<0. 05 ).The significant statistic difference on state anxious of three days after the operation in different tumor lesion intervention groups are found by analysis of variance of factorial design (Intervention and non-intervention groups:F=6.117,P<0.05;Tumor lesion:F=12.826,P<0.01). Conclusion: 1.Influencing factors of anxiety on mammary gland patients before operation are the peculiar reason, trait anxious, suckling history, family history of mammary gland lump, age, economic situation , EPQ-N;2.Relaxation music and mood relaxation training can slow down systolic pressure and pulse rate of patients after they going operating room;3.Relaxation music and mood relaxation training can reduce the level of state anxious on patients after going into operating room and three days after the operation.
