Clinical Empirical Summary And Empirical Study On Invigorating Vital Energy And Promoting Blood Flow To Cure Refractory Nephrotic Syndrome

Refractory nephrotic syndrome (RNS) is one kind of the common disase in the pediatric disease. The most common pathological type is mesangial proliferative glomerulonephrits, and it may be related to disorder of immunologic function, hypercoagul abale state, and lesion to vessel endothelium caused by cytokinal. Besides of these, it is also concerned with iatrogenic factor such as inadequacy usage of hormone and cytotoxicity medicame, infection, thrombogenesis, dystrophia, and so on. The disease' s symptoms are obstinate edema, it is ease to recurrent, difficult to be cured and some cases' s prognosis is not good.Because of its clinical manifestation, RNS belongs to such disease as "pedo-edema" or "fluid-qi" in TCM. According to clinical observation and the traditional Chinese medicine principles, my tutors think that "syndrome of QI deficiency" and "syndrome of blood stasis" are two important factors which influence RNS much, and we should pay attention to invigorating vital energy, promoting blood flow , combination of endotherapy and external treatment.My tutors, Professor Guowei Song and Xuteng Xiao, have been carrying out the research on RNS for many years. In this thesis, I summarized their research^ point of view of RNS and clinic experience on it, analyzed the two formulas for the disease, the First Supplementing Qi and Promoting Blood Circulation and the Second Supplementing Qi and Promoting Blood Circulation Decoction, which were designed by my tutors. We took the following experiment to observe the effection and mechanism of the Second Supplementing Qi and Promoting Blood Circulation Decoction.
