Analyses On Impacts Of Regional Development Activities On Pubic Health Safety

"Persisting in basing on human, building up the view of overall, harmonious and sustainable development and promoting the whole progress of economy, society and the human being"was definitely put forward; Boosting reform and development according to the requirements of "coordinating urban-rural development, integrating regional development, assorting with socioeconomic development, harmonizing human and nature development and planning domestic development and open to the outside as a whole" was also emphasized in the Third Plenary Session of the 16th Communist Party of China.Public health safety is the foundation and important content of sustainable development of human society. The effective carrying out of scientific development idea of "human-based" demands that we should pay close attention to public health safety to improve the level. Regional development is one of the important means of integrating regional development, satisfying the increasing material and cultural demands of the mass and realizing the socioeconomic progress of our country.Analyses of the influence of regional development activities on public health safety are facing the relations between them and resolving the problems. Taking the west of China as a case, the dissertation discussed impacts of regional development activities upon public health safety, analyzed the current status and future trend of public health safety and offered some measures and strategies promoting public health safety.From the point of view of resources exploration, environment pollution and protection and socioeconomic development, the thesis discussed impacts regional development activities brought to public health safety. Firstly it analyzed qualitatively recognitions of public health safety in the course of regional development activities, and then ascertained quantitatively influencing degree.Firstly, in the study of current conditions and development trend of publichealth safety in the West of China, the author set up index system, principles and methods of evaluating regional public health safety based on analyses of impacts of regional development activities upon public health safety. Secondly the paper analyzed the holistic level and inner differences of public health safety of the West. Next, it evaluated the influence of developing the west upon public health, respectively measuring off by grades and assessing from environment pollution and protection, economic development and social development. Finally, some conclusions were made.
