Almost all neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) was caused by heavy asphyxia and hypoxia during the perinatal period. Recently, multiple organs injury after asphyxia and hypoxia was paid more attention. Neuroglobin(NGB) is a newly discovered vertebrate heme protein that mainly expressed in the brain and can bind oxygen reversibly, transport and store oxygen. It has been reported that NGB act as a hypoxia-inducible neuron protect factor to promote neuronal survival from hypoxic-ischemic insults. The dynamic change of expression of NGB mRNA in cerebral, adrenal gland, heart, kidney and liver tissue was studied by using newborn piglet hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy model and semiquantitative RT-PCR technique.Objectives:1 To observe the neural-behavioral change and the tissue damage of newborn piglet hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy model.2 To observe the dynamic change of expression of NGB mRNA in cerebral tissue.3 To detect the expression of NGB mRNA in other tissues of the control group.4 To observe the dynamic change of expression of NGB mRNA in other organ tissues.Methods:1 Make the newborn piglet hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy model consulting the improved Rice method.2 Detect the expression of NGB mRNA in cerebral , adrenal gland, heart, kidney and liver tissue of the control group and the experimental groups at 0, 15, 30, 60, 120, 360min after hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD) by the...
