Objective : Observer the neurprotective effects of cerebral ischemic preconditioning combining with anisodamine in ischemia-reperfusion rat, by recording trigeminal evoked potential(TEP), investigate more effective methods of the cerebro-resuscitation and detective means. Methods: Fourty Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups (n=8 in each group) made the reversible focal cerebral ischemic-preconditioning model by occluding the middle cerebral artery ,recorded the changes of the TEP after different electric stimulation. Rats in A group(Sham-operated group) only received the operation and recorded theTEP after4 days ; Rats in B group (cerebral ischemia group)received cerebral ischemia for 15 minutes ,then reperfusion for 24 hours and recorded the TEP after occluding the middle cerebral artery for 90 minutes; Rats in C group(anisodamine therphy) occluded the middle cerebral artery for 90 minutes after received anisodamine and recorded the TEP after reperfusion for 24 hours;Rats in D group (cerebral ischemia and anisodamine therphy)occluded the middle cerebral artery for 90 minutes after operation for 3 days, received intraperitoneal injection of anisodamine and recorded the TEP after reperfusion for 24 hours; Rats in E group(ischemia / reperfusion group) occluded the middle cerebral artery for 90 minutes after sham-operating for 3 days. Results: The amplitudes of Nj-P in B> C> D groups, compared with A and E groups , were significant differences (PO.01) ,D group, compared with B and C groups, was no significant difference (P>0.05) .The latency of N| in B. C. D groups, compared with A groups , was no significant difference (P>0.05) , but compared with E groups ,there was significant difference (P < 0.05) . The latency of P in E group, compared with A groups , was significant difference (P< 0.05 ) . The HE staining shew that the damage in B. C. D groups, compared with E groups ,were significantly diminished. Conclusion: The treatment with cerebral ischemic preconditioning combining with anisodamine can notably decrease ischemicalreperfusion injury, and is more effective than the treatment only with cerebral ischemic preconditioning or anisodamine. TSEP is stable . sensitive . convenient, and is effective in detection of cranial nerve.
