Expressions And Significance Of CD44V6,c-erbB,Ki67 In Human Ovarian Cancer | | Posted on:2005-08-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q Z Ren | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360125966407 | Subject:Obstetrics and gynecology | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Purpose: Examined the expressions of CD44V6,c- erbB2,Ki67 in different types of ovarian tissues , including normal tissues , benign tissues and malignant tissues .The correlations of their over-expressions with clinical stages ,histological types , grades and lymphoid node metastasis of ovarian cancer were also investigated.Method: Examined the expressions of CD44V6,c-erbB2,Ki67 in 10 of normal ovarian tissue, 20 of ovarian benign tissues and 42 of malignant tissues by S-P immunohistochemical methods .Result and conclusion: (1) The expression of CD44V6,c-erbB2,Ki67 in the malignant tumor were much higher than those in normal and benign ones, with significant statistical difference(P<0.05). It suggests that these molecules may relate to the oncogenesis of ovarian cancers. Among them , Ki67 has high particularity in malignant tumors, it may be has great value in differentiating the benign and malignant ovarian tumors. (2) The expression of CD44V6 was concered with the histological grades and lymphoid nodes metastasis of ovarian cancers ; the over-expressions rate of C- erbB2 in ovarian cancer was 30. 9%, and has relation with clinical stages; The expresses of Ki67 has relation with clinical stages and histological grades. The result indicates that CD44V6,c- erbB2,Ki67might affect the development of ovarian cancer in some ways, the detection of these moleculesmay be helpful in foretelling the metastasis and prognosis of ovarian cancer . (3)There has high co-expressions of CD44V6 and c-erbB2 molecules in ovarian cancers and the tissues with co-expression has higher proliferations than those which only expressed one of them and which not expressed any one ,but the two latter has no difference in proliferations. Its suggest that these two molecules may has certain contact in functions, the co-expressions of CD44V6 and c- erbB2 molecules may has great value in regulating the proliferations of ovarian cancer . | | Keywords/Search Tags: | ovarian cancer, CD44V6, c-erbB2, Ki67, co-expression | | Related items |
