ObjectiveTo study the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC) on expressions of ER,PR,C-erbB2,p53 and Ki67 in breast cancer.MethodsSixty-four patients received neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Expressions of ER,C-erbB2,P53,Ki67 with breast cancer were measured by immunohistochemistry(IHC).When the expression of C-erbB2 was positive,FISH was recommended to verify the level of Her-2 gene amplification.ResultsThe effective rate of NAC was 74.6%. The expressions of ER,p53 had change in 13,9 cases after NAC,and there was no statistical significance (P>0.05). The expressions of PR,Ki67 had change in 15,18 cases after NAC,and there was statistical significance (P<0.05). The expression of C-erbB2 had change in 7 cases after NAC,and there was no statistical significance (P>0.05).ConclusionNAC can improve the expression of ER and reduce the expression of Ki67.There is no effect in ER,C-erbB2 and p53.When the expression of C-erbB2 is positive, FISH is recommended.
