| Background: Type 2 diabetes has become worldwide problem and the patients in China are over 30 million. The disease is now generally recognized through IGT(impaired glucose tolerance) stage, so it is important to control IGT to lower it's incidence. Since the finding of adiponectin in 1994,many experiments have shown that it plays an important role in energy metabolism and resistance to vascular sclerosis. In view of this, We design IGT model and have a study on it.Objective: On the base of setting up a success rats IGT model and exerting the intervention by Avandia(Rosiglitazone) and Jinqi hypoglycemia tablet, We observe the influence on serum adiponectin level as well as other indexes to identify the effect caused by the two medicines and further understand the relationship between pathology of IGT and serum adiponectin level to provide beneficial evidence for diabetes preventing and treating.Methods: Purchase 46 male Wistar rats from AnimalResearch Division of Beijing Military Academy, measure weights, fasting and postprandial plasma glucose, fasting and postprandial serum insulin, set up model by high-fat feeds, have a drug intervention study.The statistic and analysis is performed with SPSS 11.5.5Results:l.The serum adiponectin concentration in nomal chow group is 13.10 + 2. 75 ug/ml.The serum adiponectin concentration in high-fat diet group is 9.62 + 1. 3lug/mlThe adiponectin concentration in avandia group is 13.59 + 3. 68 g/ml.The adiponectin concentration in Jinqi hypoglycemic tablet group is 12.52 + 2. 29 g/ml2. The results of Stastical analyses show that the serum adiponectin concentration does not reach a significant degree compared with other groups, This index has not stastical difference among other groups.3. The related analysis of adiponectin and other indexes: throughpearson analysis, the results are as follows: fasting insulin r=-0.343p=0.041; 2 hours postprandial plasma glucose,r=-0.554 p<0.001; FFG r=-0.474 p<0.001;seru free fatty acid r=-0.43 p<0.001;ISI:r=0.317 p=0.06.Related Pearson analysis for ISI, weight: r=-0.53 p=0.001;fasting plasma glucose r=-0.615 p<0.001;-% fasting insulin r=-0.954 p<0.001;2 hours postprandial plasma glucose r=-0.767 pl; 2 hourspostprandial serum insulin r=-0.767 pO.OOl -, FFG r=-0.715 p<0.01;viscera fat/weight r=-0.701 p<0.001test of normality multielement stepwise regression equation adiponectin = 29.993 ?0.631*2 hours postprandial plasmaglucose-0.365 FFA, significant test pO.OOl p=0.01.Conclusion:1. Adiponectin is positively correlated with insulin sensitivity.2. The level of adiponectin is negatively correlated with veceral fat, serum level of FFA and triglyceride.3. Avandia and Jinqi hypoglycemic tablet can increase the serum level of adiponectin, improve insulin resistance. |
