Clinical Study On Treatment Of Age-related Cataract By Quzhangmingmu Tablet

Objective: To study the clinical curative effect treated with Quzhangmingmu Tablet and explore its mechanism. Based on years of clinical experiences, the late professor Yi Yuanliang manufactured a prepared Chinese medicine -Quzhangmingmu tablet.Guided by our tutor, we aim to evaluate the tablet's curative action and explore its mechanism, according to clinical observation. Methods: There're two groups-Quzhangmingmu Tablet group (30 patients,58 eyes)and Zhangyanmingpian group (27 patients,58 eyes).In the two groups, vision is observed respectively before and after treatment and pattern-visual evoked potential(P-VEP) is examined in the Quzhangmingmu Tablet group.Results: From the results of clinical research, we can see that Quzhangmingmu Tablet can improve vision effectively. The total efficiency is 87.93% better than that of the control group (63.16%) significantly and the amplitude of P100 is also improved. Conclusion: Quzhangmingmu Tablet can improve the patients' vision, raise the amplitude of P100.It may be related with the antioxidant ingredient contained in the tablet.
