Objective: To investigate the function and significance of PDGF, TNF, TGF- 3 protein in tissular type glomerulonephritis. Methods: The expression of PDGF, TNF, TGF- 3 in tissue of normal kidneys and in various tissular type in glomerulonephritis were examined by immuno-histochemicalmethod (LSAB). Result: The positive frequency of PDGF, TNF and TGF- β were 23.33%(7/30), 10%(3/30), 33.33%(10/30) in normal tissue and were 82.14%(92/112), 66.96%(75/112), 83.04% (93/112) respectively in glomerulonephritis. There were statistic significance between glomerulonephritis and normal tissues (P<0.05); The significant correlationship were found between PDGF and TGF-β and TNF (P<0.05). Conclusion: 1) The overexpressions of PDGF, TNF, TGF- 3 may be an important event in glomerulonephritis; 2) The expression of PDGF, TNF, TGF- 3 in mesangial cell indicated that cell factor were action by cell of kidney and in turn; 3) The correlationship in between PDGF and TGF- 3 and TNF showed that them were affected and acted each other.
