Clinical Observation And Experimental Research On Treatment Of Endometriosis By Tonifying Qi And Kidney And Removing Blood Stasis

OBJECTIVE: ENDOMETRIOSIS is one of a complex diease in gynecology, it happens to most of the women who are in child-bearing period. It's similar to malignant tumor because of the incursion, extensive implantation and easily recurrent. In recent years, the episodic rate has become higher than before. Endometriosis is association with infertility, but the relationship between endometriosis and infertility and the reason of infertility are still not clear.Fifteen percent people are infertile, and at least 30%- 40% of patients with endometriosis have infertility. In the past, it was believed that the menstruation cycle of the patients with endometriosis was normal and was ovulatory menstruation. But in rencent years, patients with endometriosis had been reported to have anovulatory cycles, luteal phase defects and galactorrea, suggesting that the endometriosis may be due to abnormal reproductive endocrine. The reasons of infertility are not confirmed. At present, medical therapies and surgery are used for trentment of endometriosis. But there are some problems: the rate of recurrence after surgery is high; And after the pseudomenopause therapy and spurious pregnancy therapy also have the problems of recurrence and ill effect; The price of GnRH- a therapy is high. And patients cannot maintain the therapy in a long time because of the ill effect. So it is an important topic that explore the effective therapy of endometriosis. In order to explore the episodic mechanism of endometriosis and provide an effective therapy, we invest therapeutic effect of endometriosis by the treatment of Yiqi Bushen Huayu principle (YQBSHY, Tonifying Qi and Kidney and Removing Blood Stasis).METHODS: 1. Clinical observation: Forty-eight cases with endometriosis treated with TCM. Three months treatment successively is a course. The amelioration of the symptoms and physical signs were determined. Each patient was asked to grade the presence and severity of dysmenorrhea and nonmenstrual pelvic pain by VAS and VRS. Basal body temperature (BBT) and the serum hormones level were determined. 2. Experimental research: on the model of surgical induced rat endometriosis, weight and pathological changes of endometrial transplant and serum hormones were observed.RESULTS: Endometriosis is associated with reproductive endocritic disturbance. After treatment, fifteen cases were cyesis , cyesis rate was 75%; the effective rate of this therapy was 93.75%. The scores of dysmenorrhea and nonmenstrual pelvic pain were significantly reduced (P<0.01), chocolate cysts size were significantly decreased (P<0.01), the levels of serum hormones LH, PRL, E2 were significantly difference (P<0.05). BBT ameliorated and the score of HPS significantly increased (P<0.01). The effective rate of this therapy was 93.75%. Weight of endometrial transplants was reduced by TCM (P<0.05). Transplants of TCM treated rat showed poorly developed epithelium, thinner stroma, fewer stromal cells and glands. At the same time serum E2 were elevated by TCM.CONCLUSIONS: YQBSHY therapy could modulate the ovary function in women with endometriosis, improve the clinical symptoms and sign obviously. It is a safe and effective therapy.
