Clinical And Related Experimental Study Of Dissipating Hygrosis Prescription On Treating Type 2 Diabetes

Diabetes is a set of unnormal metabolizing syndrome , consulting from the interaction of the heredity factor and enviroment factor , which is featured by chronic (long-lasting) high blood glucose on clinical diagnosis . Diabetes for a long time leads to chronic complication of many systems and organs , results in functional disorder and exhaustion , this becomes the principal reason leading to deformity stemming from diabetes . This article systematically state the present situation of tradional Chinese medical treatment on diabetic chronic complication , and treatment from phlegm on type 2 diabetes .Professor liang,my tutor , according to the clinical practice , indicate that type 2 diabetes often displays phlegm type , accordingly advances new method "dissipate turbid by balmine" as the discipline and chooses "Dissipating hygrosis prescription" as the main prescription to cure the disease . We observed 40 cases suffering from type 2 diabetes followed different complications . Results: tangible 14 cases , valid 20 cases , invalid 6 cases , the effective rate is 85%. In addition ,.we had experimental study on diabetic rats. Results: Contrast to the DM group,the group treated by "dissipating hygrosis prescription" has the following effects: Decreasing the excretion of urine microalbumin (P<0.05) and the blood glucose level (P<0.01) , increasing the activity of SOD in renal tissue (P<0.05) and decreasing the level of MDA and AGEs (P<0.05) . There is no significance difference on creatinine between the two groups (P<0.05) . Observing under the light microscope , the widening range in mesentery region of the "dissipating hygrosis prescription" treated group lower than that of the model group. Conclusions : On treating type 2 diabetes "dissipating hygrosis prescription" has good effect. It has a favorable effect on early DN in STZ induced diabetic rats and interfering tendency on the lipid peroxidation and AGEs . So it deserves further extending.
