Experimental Study On The Effect Of Tian Ma Granules On Proliferation Of Human Colonic Carcinoma Cell Line SW480

Objective: To observe the effect of Tian Ma Granules on proliferation of Human colonic carcinoma cell line SW480, and investigate the mechanism initially.Methods: Colonic carcnioma cell line SW480 was treated with different concentation Tian Ma Granules, negtive and positive contrast were established. CD Microscope examination was used to investigate the morphological changes. (2)SW480 dell proliferation was evaluated by viable cell count. (3)MTT assay was used to observe the proliferation status. ?Alkaline phosphatase (AKP) activity was measured by IFCC methods.Result: Tian Ma Granules could significantly inhibit the growth of SW480 cell line. And it showed dose-dependent and time-dependent inhitory effects on the proliferation in SW480 cell line. The consistency of half number that Tian Ma Granules inhibited SW480 through external body was about 7ug/ml. AKP activity increased significantly after treatment with Tian Ma Granules.Dose-response studies revealed that the AKF of SW480 cell line increased progressively as an effect of Tian Ma Granules consistency(10-4- 10-2g/ml)Conclusion: The experiment showed that Tian Ma Granules could significantly inhibit the growth of SW480 cell line. The relations between dose and effects are clear. This kind of inhibitive effects was partly concerned with inducing differentiation of SW480 cell.
