The Study Of Processing Technology Of Gingseng With Mild Property

Gingseng has long been used as a tonic and agent for prolonging life span. But not everyone is fit for taking it. It can cause certain side effects on one who is in the case of excess, as is called drastic property. In this research, according to traditional processing principle, it is processed by constraining hot with cold to change its drastic properties into mild. Various assistant materials such as Fresh rehamnnia root and Raw gypsum is selected to reduce drastic properties. Ginsenoside is determined by TLC and HPLC. The new processing technology is proved to be feasible by pharmaocological experiment.
