Objective to study the therapeutic efficacy of Zhi Chan Soup in the quality of life of Parkinson' s disease(which belongs to deficiency of the liver-Yin and kidney-Yin) by clinical trial.. Methods Fifty cases of Parkinson' s disease (which belongs to deficiency of the liver-Yin and kidney-Yin) were divided into two groups: therapy group (25 cases) and control group (25 cases). The improvement in both groups after therapy was observed.Results There were 9 patients (36%) in the therapy group and 3 patients (12%) in the control group markedly improved in the quality of life.Conclusions Zhi Chan Soup improves the quality of life of Parkinson' s disease, and it may become one of the choices for the therapy of Parkinson' s disease.
