Objective To investigate the effect of hemoperfusion(HP) on lipids in hemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure(CRF). Methods To compare the difference of lipids before and after the treatment of combined hemodialysis-hemoperfusion in 40 hemodialysis patients with CRF.Results Lipid disorders are common in patients with CRF .The levels of triglyceride(TG) and lipoprotein(a)[ Lp(a)] in serum decreased after the treatment of combined hemodialysis-hemoperfusion.The levels of cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein(HDL),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),apolipoprotein A( APOA), APOB had no significant changes after treatment. Conclusion hemoperfusion is a method of an effective treatment in dyslipidemia of hemodialysis patients.
