Clinical And Experimental Study On Yiwei Particle In Treating Dampness-heat Syndrome Of Chronic Gastritis

Objective:To explore the clinical curative effect and mechanism of Yiwei particle in treating dampness-heat syndrome of chronic gastritis.Methods:In the clinical research, eighty patients with dampness-heat syndrome of chronic gastritis were divided into two groups randomly.The treatment group of 40 cases was treated with Yiwei particle orally while the control group of 40 cases was treated with Sanjiuweitai particle orally.Their clinical symptoms,endscope examination and changes in pathology were observed and compared.In the experimental study,to study the effects of Yiwei particle on experimental chronic gastritis in rats induced by 0.025%NH3.H2O and foot swelling in rats induced by egg white and body twist reaction in mice induced by KSBC4H4O7.1/2H2O and to observe the effect of Yiwei particle on Helicobacter pylori(Hp) through the test out of the body.Results:The clinical study showed that the total effective rates were 95.0% in treatment group and 80.0% in control group respectively.There was a marked difference between the two groups(p<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group in clearing Hp(p<0.05). Comparing with model group(p<0.01),the experimental study showed that the gastric mucosa inflammation of Experimental chronic gastritis in rats was improved significantly by Yiwei particle. Comparing with model group(p<0.05,p<0.01),Yiwei particle can inhibit the foot swelling in rats induced by egg white and the body twist reaction in mice induced by KSBC4H4O7.1/2H2O.Yiwei particle has given function of clearing Hp,its MIC50 and MIC90 were 2.33mg/ml and 7.18mg/ml respectively.Conclusion:Yiwei particle is a new effective and safe prepration in treating dampness-heat syndrome of chronic gastritis. Its mechanism might be related to clearing Hp,anti-inflammation,analgesic,immuno-modulating effect and protecting gastric mucosa.
