Theory Investigate And Clinical Study On Treating Lower Extremity Superficial Thrombophebitis Through Liver And Spleen

Objective: To probe the theory base which treats Lower Extremity Superficial Thrombophebitis(LEST) through liver and spleen and observe the clinical effect of the recipe that treats LEST through liver and spleen , then to investigate initially the possible mechanism. Method: We summarize the relevant TCM documents of the successive dynasties about Superficial Thrombophebitis (ST) and operate the doctrine of viscera state, the theory of meridians and collaterals, theory of Chinese drugs attributive channel to interpret the pathogeny and pathology ,invasion part and medication regularity of LEST have intimate relation with liver and spleen. So offering the theory base which treats LEST through liver and spleen. We put the recipe basing on the theory into clinical , to observe the symptom and physical sign changing pretreat and after treatment, to examine the indexs of hemorheology, WBC, PLT, Fg change pretreat and after treatment. Result:The cure rate is 26.6%,the total effective rate is 94.9%. The indexs of hemorheology, WBC, PLT, Fg have remarkable difference pretreat and after treatment (p<0.05 or p<0.01). Conclusion: That treating LEST through liver and spleen is ideal method, and put it into clinical, curative effect is positive, the course of treatment is short, to become effective is fast and the recurrence rate is low. The mechanism is possibly to produce effect through restraining the inflammation and improving the blood flow state.
