Research On Chemical Cconstituents Of Xanthochrous Nilgheriensis (Mont.) Teng By SFE And General Extraction Method

Xanthochrous nilgheriensis(Mont.)Teng has been used to cure of laryngopharyngitis and tonsillitis as a folk remedy. But it has not been investigated before. In this chemical study on Xanthochrous nilgheriensis(Mont.)Teng,6 compounds have been isolated. On the basis of chemical reactions,spectral evidences and also by comparision with some authentic samples and their standard spetra,they were proposed as following: n-octacosanoic acid( I )?succinic acid ( II )? protocatechuic acid (III)? D-mannitol (IV) n-eicosanoic acid ( V ).In addition,the composition of supercritical CO2 fluid extraction product was carried out by the means of GC-MS,25 compounds were identified.The main compositions of SFE(CO2) product were long chain fatty acids. I?II?IV and V are firstly isolated from this plant, I? III and V are firstly isolated from this genus.
