| Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effect and the possible mechanism of Li Dan Pai Shi Oral Liquid (LDPSOL) in treatment of Cholelithiasis of Damp-Heat Pattern. Method: 60 cases of Cholelithiasis patients were divided into 2 groups randomly: 30 cases in LDPSOL group (treatment group) and 30 cases in Anti-Inflammatory Gallbladder-Disinhibiting Tablet group (control group), to observe the changes of clinical symptoms, physical signs,laboratory indexes and abdominal B-ultrasound. In the experimental study,we observed the effects of LDPSOL on mice and cavies. Results: After 4 weeks of treatment, clinical symptoms, physical signs, abdominal B-ultrasound, Leucocyte count and DC, serum total bilirubin of treatment group improved significantly, and the improvement of clinical symptoms, physical signs, abdominal B-ultrasound was superior to the control group The total curative effect of the treatment group was 83 33%, which was superior to the control group The experimental study showed that LDPSOL had the effect of relieving pain and diminishing inflammation. LDPSOL could significantly increase the biliary secretion and elevate bile acid concentration in bile LDPSOL also could decrease the level of bilirubin,cholesterol and mucus in bile.Conclusion: LDPSOL had affirmative therapeutic effect in treating Cholelithiasis.It could relieve the clinical symptoms remarkably and safely. It deserved to be extensively applied . |
