Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Perimenopausal Syndrome By The Back-Shu And The Front-Mu And Network Points Acupuncture

Perimenopausal Syndrome (PMS) is a frequently -occurring disease. It is a group of syndrome that is caused by the fluctuative decrease of the woman's estrogen level in her menopausal period.This syndrome's main peculiarity is vegetative nerve functional disturbance,and psychonosema or psychologic disturbance is accompanied.Up to mow, there isn't effective method in west medicine.In order to seek an new therapeutic method to cure this disease,we have a researth on the therapeutic effect of the back-shu and the front-mu and network points acupuncture for the treatment of the PMS,and we also evaluate the influence of this therapeutic method on the FSH, LH, E2 levels in serum.Methods:40 cases of PMS were randomly divided into two groups.The patients of the control group were treated by GengNianAn capsule,while the patients of the treatment group were treated by the back-shu and the front-mu and network points acupuncture besides the tablet.We observed their clinical symptoms and measured endocrine hormone levels. Result: The total validity rate of treatment group is 90.9%,while the control group is 66.7%.There is significant difference between these two groups (P<0.05) .In the treatment group, the E2 levels have been increased greatly (P<0.05) , the KI and the FSH, LH levels have been decreased greatly (P<0.05) . Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of the back-shu and the front-mu and network points acupuncture plus GengNianAn is significantly better than that of GengNianAn.
