| Objective To evaluate the clinical value and feasibility of ultro sono graphic diagnosis in gastric carcinoma . Methods Patients with suspected gastric carcinoma wereexaminated by ultrasonography and gastroscopy . the 61 cases were compared with those of operations and pathology . Results 83.6% gastric carcinoma were detected by ultrasonography .Thecorresponding rates of intrsion of gastric walls , transference of lymphies and others between ultro s ography and pathology were 70.5%,31.1%, 65.4% Conclusions Ultrasonography canprovide for the selection of clinicaltherapeutic scheme and the patients' prognosis. Ultras ono graphy has great clinical significance in diagnosing gastric carcinoma patients.
