| Objective: To explore the clinical effect and mechanism of treating age-related macular degeneration by yiqiyangyinmingmutang.Methods: Do the clinical observation and animal experiments by using yiqiyangyinmingmutang and comparing control group with shihuyeguangwan matching with augentropfen stulln mono eye drops.Results: Clinical surveying and treating by yiqiyangyinmingmutang for 22 cases (35eyes),the total effective rate was 88.57%,and the total effective rate was 69.7% among 22 cases (33eyes) in the control group. The sight and light sensitivity were increased significant after using the medicine, the examining of Amsler table was improved obviously, and the treated group was excellent than the control group (p<0.01).The experimental study on rats identified that yiqiyangyinmingmutang could improve the activity of SOD and CAT in eyes texture of aged deficiency spleen and kidney rats, improve the content of NO and cut down that of MDA ,improve NO/ET. There was notability difference comparing with control group (p<0.01).The measurement of trace elements in yiqiyangyinmingmutang proved that this medicine contained many sots of trace elements, among which zinc and copper improve the swnphesize of SOD.Conclusion: Yiqiyangyinmingmutang could enhance the antioxidative capability of retinea, refine microcirculation. This medicine was used to treat ARMD with confirmed resulting and notable effect. |
