Objective:Urinary calculi is a kind of common disease.and it's incidence rate is high.Huaxi hospital has received many patients for urinary calculi.Among them, there are not only many patients for the first operation, but also many patients for the reoperation and recurrence of urinary stone. The purpose of tins article is to comprehend the difference of the clinical charasteristic of the two groups.Materials and Methods:Review the medical records of the patients for urinary calculi from 1th January, 1998 to 31th December,2002.The datas are collected by the designed chart, and are processed by SPSS lO.O.The contrasts between the averages are processed by u Check, and the contrasts between the rates are processed by x2 Check, and the correlation analysis calculate the correlation coefficient r.P<0.05 has statistic significance. Rerults:There are 1258 patients for urinary calculi treated in HuaXi hospital from 1th January,1998 to 31th December,2002.Among them, 846 patients arefor the first operation, and 412 patients are for reoperation. The average time of symptom lasting is 4.7 years, and the average time of symptom lasting of the group for the first operation is 4.6 years, and the average time of symptom lasting of the group for reoperation is 5.1 years,u=2.1698,P<0.05.The average diameter of the stone is 1.72cm,the average stone diameter of the group for the first operation is 1.77cm, the average stone diameter of the group for reoperation is 1.63cm,u=3.0216,P<0.05.The average number of the stone is 2.41,and the average stone number of the group for the first operation is 2.21, the average stone number of the group for reoperation is 2.81,u=10.9658,P<0.05.The average renal function(Cr) is 107.1,and the average renal function of the group for first operation is 104.6, the average renal function of the group for reoperation is 112.2,u=2.99,P<0.05. The number of the patients for lateral renal stone is 381, among them 266 patients are for the first operation, 115 patients are for reoperation; there are 497 patients for lateral ureteral stone, among them 314 patients are for first operation, 183 patients are for reoperation; there are 155 patients for simple bladder stone, among them 132 patients are for first operation, and 23 patients are for reoperation; there are 225 patients for polycalculi, among them there are 134 patients for first operation, and 91 patients are for reoperation. x 2=33.46,P<0.05. The average stone diameter of the patients for reoperation when last treatment is 1.79cm, contrasted with that when this treatment u=2.31,P<0.05. The average stone number of the patients for reoperation when last treatment is 2.17, contrasted with that when this treatment u=9.0186,P<0.05.The average renal function of the patients for reoperation when last treatment is 105.3, contrasted with that when thistreatment u=2.027,P<0.05. 67.8% of the patients for reoperation, their last treatment is ESWL, the others proceed open surgery. There are 873 patients proceed open surgery, among them there are 578 patients for first operation, and 295 patients for reoperation; there are 174 patients proceed ESWL, among them there are 121 patients for first operation, and 53 patients for reoperation; there are 100 patients proceed endoscopic suegery, among them there are 73 patients for first ooperation, and 27 patients for reoperation; there are 67 patients proceed stoma or dialysis, among them there are 44 patients for first operation, and 23 patients for reoperation; there are 44 patients proceed only treatment for the symptom, among them there are 30 patients for first operation, and 14 patients for reoperation. The two groups contrast, x2=4.1104,P>0.05. But the treatment for ureteral stone between the two groups is different, x 2=9.2824,P<0.05. The average operation time is 103min, and that of patients for first operation is 98min, that of patients for reoperation is 114,u=4.5632,P<0.05.The correlation coefficient between stone diameter and operation time r=0.192,P<0.05, and the correlation coefficient between stone number a...
