Study On The Clinical Observation And Mechanism Of Acupuncture On Accelerating Labour

Object: Study the clinical curative effects of acupuncture on accelerating labor by observing the effects of acupuncture on the labor process of parturient and other labor-relating factors . Based on the study, afford a safety, reliable and effective therapy on accelerating labor without side effects and advanced the endocrinic mechanism of acupuncture on accelerating labor. Method: Select 37 cases of parturients with no vaginal delivery contrain dications.Divide them into acupunctrue and control groups,apply needlings at "Hegu"and"Sanyinjiao"on the acupuncture group,to the control group,none of methods is applied. 1 The measured markers are the state of birth process, giving neonate score, complication and bleeding quantity of postpartum and the way of labor and so on. Observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture on accelerating labor and the effect of the curative effect on the factors relating to labor. 2 To study the effect of acupuncture on shortening the stages of labor and the physiological mechanism of acupuncture on accelerating labor, take the estradiol(E2), progesterone(P) and prostaglandinF1α(PGF1α) in venous blood as studying markers.Results: 1 The acupuncture group had obvious effect on shortening the stages of labor. Compared with the control group, the acupuncturegroup had significant difference in shortening the first stages of labor(P<0.05) and its active phase(P<0.01) . 2 Acupuncture can change the contents of E2, P and PGF2αin vivo of parturient significantly. Compared with the control group, the acupuncture group had significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusions: 1 Acupuncture can shorten the stages of labor effectively. It has the merits of convenient manipulation, safety, without side effect and so on, so it is worth applying in clinic widely. 2 The effect is probably produced by altering content of endorcrinic hormone such as E2,P,PGs .
