Objective: at present, there is no accurate basis for the reference of the standard of delivery process in the clinic. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the old labor process criteria(i.e.,the Friedman labor curve)and the new labor standard and the expert consensus in the management of obstetric intervention and maternal and child outcomes. Methods: In this study,we retrospectively analyzed 188 cases of young patients with single head pregnancy who were admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and gynecology in First Hospital Affiliated to Lanzhou University from January 2014 to February 2014 and September2016 to October 2016,divided into control group(n=90,the old labor standard management labor and research group(n=98,the new labor management labor standard),comparative analysis of 2groups of pregnant women in the process of the labor time, given clinical intervention and maternal and child outcomes.Results:(1)there was no significant difference between the two groups of pregnant women in general and birth quality(P>0.05);(2)The active time of the study group was shorter, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the latent period, the time of the second and the third stage of labor(P>0.05);(3)The control group in the second stage of labor low forceps assisted vaginal delivery were significantly more than the study group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),The two group using oxytocin, the second stage of episiotomy(and median cut)to help delivery and comparison of the total number of cases of intervention in the first and second stage of labor, there were no significant differences(P>0.05);(4)The number of cases of cesarean section in the control group was significantly higher than that in the study group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(5)In the two groups of maternal and fetal outcomes: the study group of fetal distress and postpartum hemorrhage was significantly less than the control group, the number of maternal birth injury cases was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference between the two groups in neonatal asphyxia(P>0.05)?Conclusion: the new labor process standard to reduce unnecessary intervention in the process of labor management, effectively reduce the rate of cesarean section,so that more pregnant women to avoid the subsequent injury caused by cesarean section. At the same time, there was no significant increase in serious adverse outcomes in pregnant women and neonates. Therefore,we believe that the standard of new labor process is worthy of promotion in the clinical management of pregnant women.
