Clinical Research On Effect Of Osteoarthritis Of Knee Joint Treated With Frzttie

Osteoarthritis(OA) is a common disease which always destroys articular cartilage and damages bone beneath cartilages synovium and tissues around joint. It's pathogenesis has been uncertain .As aging society coming, incidence rate of OA has gradually increased. However treatments of OA haven't developed. Base on clinical experience, Professor Dongqingping combined modern Chinese herb medicine pharmaist with theory of TDS and mamufactured FRZTTIE which is a pure Chinese herb preparation that external use.In order to observe the clinical effects of FRZTTIE for OA of knee, 66 cases of OA of knee were divided into the experimental group treated by FRZTTIE and the control group treated by NXZTGAO at random. The result showed that there was a significantly difference in comparing the total effective rates of the two groups (P<0.05). There was significant difference in relieving ache, improving dysfunction of joint, improving the capacity of dairy live and walking (P<0.05), there was obviously significant difference in swelling of joint (P<0.01). there was no difference in time that take effect and duration. Observed though thermal infrared image FRZTTIE could improve microcirulation and raise part blood flow It was suggested that FRZTTIE and NXZTGAO had significant effect to OA of knee, however FRZTTIE is superior to NXZTGAO in some aspects.
