The Clinical Study On The Prophylaxas Of The Recurrence Of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) With "HUXIN" Capsule

Objective: Study the "HUXIN"capsule united with Amiodarione on the effect of curative effect of maintaining the sinus rhythm and the effect of left atrium contract function after recovering the cardiac rhythm of patients with NRN-AF. Method: We selected 60 patients with NRN-AF who were divided into the experimental group(n=40) and the control group(n=20) at random. After recovering the cardiac rhythm, the experimental group was treated by "HUXIN"capsule and little dose Amiodarione as well as the control group by Amiodarione singly. The ultrasound was used as the measurement of the left atrium function in the first day and the thirtieth day after recovering the cardiac rhythm of the patients with AF. During six months follow-up, we recorded ECG and clinical symptoms. Result: The two groups were contrasted with Ap, Ai, Zp, Zi in the thirtieth day after recovering the cardiac rhythm of the patients. The experimental group had markable difference contrasted with control group(P<0.05). After six months follow-up, the curative effect of 85% patients of the experimental group was superior than that of 75% patients of the control group. Conclusion: "HUXIN" capsule was safe and effective drug of maintaining the sinus rhythm after recovering the cardiac rhythm of the patients with AF. "HUXIN" capsule with amiodarione maintained the sinus rhythm superior than amiodarione. "HUXIN" capsule could ameliorate the homodynamic function which may be one of its mechanisms.
