Clinical Research On Behcet's Syndrome From Internal Toxin

Objective: According to the theory of Chinese medicine and Chinese- western combined medicine, the research probes into the pathogenesis, mechanism and therapy of Behcet' s syndrome from the two aspects of theory and clinic. Methods: We prescribed Xiaobaitang for 30 cases as the treating group. The control group is 15 cases, prescribed with pred30mg/d. Treat for 2 months and inquire for 3 months to watch relapse and reverse reaction. Results: Through clinical observation, we can see that the total effect has no obvious difference between the two groups. (p>0. 05). But the objective symptoms, relapse rate, interphase and reverse reaction of the treating group are obviously superior to the control group (p <0. 05). Conlusion: This testifies it right that the theory of internal toxin leading to the syndrome and the treatment of clearing damp-heat, detoxicating and promoting the blood circulation for acute Behcet' s syndrome. This paper has also analyzed the difference between sexes.
