Objective: To elevate the effect of surgery of bladder cancer and try toremain functional bladder as well as reduce recurrenceMethods: 72 patients were divided into two groups randomly. The contrastgroup (40 cases) received partial cystectomy or TUR-Bt and postoperatelybladder infusion chemotherapy. The study group (32 cases) received twiceintra-artery infusion chemotherapy preoperately and partial cystectomyor TUR-Bt, and bladder infusion chemotherapy postoperately.Results: 18 and 6 cases recurrence in the contrast group (45%) and the study group (18.75%)respectively after two years followed up. There was a significant difference between the twogroups.Conclusions: Intra-artery infusion chemotherapy preoperately candecrease the degree of bladder cancer and increase the surgery chanceas well as can reduce recurrence. The method of intra-artery infusionchemotherapy preoperately and bladder reserve operation is effective anduseful for bladder cancer.
