OBJECTIVE: Observation on therapeutic efficacy of LuYaPing Oral Liquid(LYPOL) in acute craniocerebral injury .METHODS: 48 cases of acute craniocerebral injury were randomly divided into two groups, control group(24cases) were treated with western medicine complex treatment, and treatment group (24 cases) was treated with LYPOL combined with western medicine complex treatment. The clinical effections, changes of clinical symptoms, nitric oxide(NO), and craniocerebral CT were observed.RESULTS: After 21days of treatment, in the control group the corresponding values were 62. 5% and 87. 5%, and in the treated group, the cure rate being 75%, the total effective rate being 95. 8%. Comparison of the total effective rate in the two groups showed significant difference. At the same time, it was showed that LYPOL could modulate patients of acute craniocerebral injury of clinical symptoms, and inhibits the increase of serum NO.CONCLUSION: LYPOL is effective for treating patients of acute craniocerebral injury.
