ObjectiveTo explore the risk factors for, the incidence, pathogenic microorganism, clinical features, prophylaxis and treatment of pulmonary infectious complications in allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (allo-BMT) patients. MethodsThe clinical data of 29 cases with the pulmonary infection after allo-BMT were analyzed. ResultsThe risk factors for pulmonary infections after allo-BMT are not related to sex, age, transplant type ,underlying disease, veno-occlusive-disease and graft failure of the recipients. Graft-versus-host-disease andhemorrhagic cystitis significantly increase the morbidity of pulmonary infectious complication after allo-BMT.Infections were mainly caused by gran-negative bacteria and cytomegalovirus. Of the 29 patients, 17 were rescued, 12 failed. ConclusionThe pulmonary infection after allo-BMT was complex feature, high mortality and poor prognosis. Intensive care and active measures should be given to the pulmonary infection after Allo-BMT.The key points of successful treatment involve early pathogen diagnosis and using the in time applicant of abundant, extended-spectrum and combined antibiotics.
