Activities of superoxiede dismutate (SOD) and clinic affectionwas investigated in 70 caseseof cerebral infarction before and afterhead and body acpuncture united treatment. Refer to ((TraditionalChinese Medicine stroke Judgement standard of Diagnosisaffection)) and SOD standard point, the results are that the clinicaffection rate is 9l .4% and the activities of SOD obviously'increased (P<0.0l) and has no obviouse difference contrast to SODstandard point (P>0.05). SOD is important eliminating substances tooxygen free radical.The reseults indicated head body acupuncture united treatmenthas wonderful clinic affection and can decrease the destory ofoxygen free radical indirecatly.
