| VMC is common in clinic and it is observed more in childrenand adolesent. In recent years the experts in medical pay moreattention to VMC. The objective of this thesis is to observe theclinical effect of ShenQi ShengMai Decoction on treating VMC.Sixty patients of VMC were randomly divided into 2 groups,the 30 patients in the treated group were treated with ShenQiShengMai Decotion and the 30 patients in the control group weretreated with EC. The therapeutic course for both groups was 4weeks.Their symptoms,sings,clectrocardiogra (ECG), dynamicECG changes before and after treatment and the funtion of theleft heart were observed.The results imply .(l)The improvmenton chest stuff iness,short breath,fatigue and spontaneous perspir-ation in the treatment group were better than those in the controlgroup (P<0.05). (2)ShenQi Sheng Mai Decotion has a bettereffect on improving ECG than the control group (P<0.05) .(3)Especially ShenQi ShengMai Decotion has obvious effects onimproving the function of the left heart.
