[Object] To analyse the clinical characteristics of intramedullaryneurinoma, search for the appropriate microinvasive surgery methods, and improve the diagnosis and treatment of intramedullary neurinoma.[Methods] Based on the clinical behaviors, changes in screenage andeffect of microsurgery of 3 cases intramedullary neurinoma we have treated, combination with 58 cases have been reported in the literatures, we analysed total of 61 cases of intramedullary neurinoma.[Result] In 61 cases, 42 cases is male and female 19 cases; age from 9years to 75 years (average 39.7 years), among all cases 5 cases are children below 12 years old; Progress of disease is spanned from 3 months to 20 years, most of them have complains as limb numbness, myodynamia decline or defecation dysfunction(89.5%). Sites of the lesion: 37 cases in cervical spinal cord(60.6),15 cases in thoracic spinal cord and 9cases in lumbar spinalcord, most of them lies on the back of spinal meninges. Surgery methods: total resection 41 cases, subtotal resection 20 cases, most of them recover well.[Conclusions] Intramedullary neurinoma more frequently occurs in adultmale, commonly appears in cervical spinal cord. Relapse of the neurinoma is rare in post-total resection patients, and prognosis is quite well. Early diagnosis, precise preoperative localization and treatment with microscopic auxiliary microinvasive surgery are the key points for a better prognosis of intramedullary neurinoma.
