In the face of the fact that fund input from the government is insufficient and there is heated market competition, how will hospitals attract patients and get money to keep competitive advantages and sustainable development? Different hospitals will take different tactics. This article takes H hospital development course of nearly 20 years as an example, uses relevant theories and tools at the angle of business ethics to discuss two kinds of management philosophies and business behaviors and its results instituted since 1 990s, and analyzes the gains and losses and some ethics problems in hospital management and reformation. It probes into some management problems to be solved urgently. The article is divided into two parts: cases and analysis of cases. The first part talks about H hospital background and its management philosophy. The second part talks about some theories and tools of business ethics and analyzes H hospital management. The conclusion is that establishment of business ethics and canying it out are very important to hospitals in the new century. |
