Objective To investigate the changes of activities of antioxidant enzymes and levels of lipid peroxidation in the retina of rabbits with experimental blunt ocular trauma Methods the experimental blunt ocular trauma of rabbits were made by steel ball,which fell to the center of cornea vertically(energy 3.23).The rabbits were killed before and ld,3d,7d,14d after inj ury.The activies of superoxide di srnutase(SOD),GSH-peroxidase (GSH-Px), catalase(CAT) and levels of rnalondial dehyde (MDA,indicator of lipid peroxidation) in the retinas were studied.
