The statistical difference between the two groups isveiy significant(PO.05) in following two items:the dysfunction of sexual ability and sensitivity of relations with people.2.The comparison of QOF among all kinds of TCM differentiation syndroms in TCM&WM group shows: the hyperactivity of liver fire syndrom is superior to the stagnation of sputum and damp syndroni(PO.05) among all of TCM differentiation syndroms in WM group in the QOF of the patients.4.There are no statistical difference(P>O.1) between the two groups in the age, occupation and sex of the patients.Conclusion: The principle of treatment plays an important role in the QOF of the gerontic hypertension patients of the second stage. The effect is different among all of kinds of differentiation syndroms and can be reference index for clinical treatment.
