This paper studied the effects of foliar spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on physiological property, chemical components and aroma constituents of flue-cured tobacco in order to discuss inhibition or promotion mechanism of chemical controlling matter to flavor quality of flue-cured in Henan province, and aimed at screening chemical control measures that could improve the flavor quality of tobacco leaf .The results of the studies were listed as follows:1. Effects of spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on the content of pigment.Spraying high concentration of Zn twice during the growing period, the first spraying was beneficial to promote the photosynthesis of flue-cured tobacco and the second spraying was beneficial to make the tobacco leaf mature at moderate time and the decomposition of chlorophyll.. The contents of chlorophyll pigments of Mo treatments were lower than that of controls.By comparison with the treatments of different amino acid, spraying low concentration in vigorous growing period was beneficial to the accumulation of chlorophyll, however,in mature stage the spraying made the tobacco leaf mature at moderate time .2. Effects of spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on carbon and nitrogen metabolism. The research showed that high concentration treatments of Zn during mature stage and growing period could promote the coordinated development of carbon and nitrogen metabolism than other treatments.By comparison with different Mo treatments,as the activity of NR in tobacco leaf had strong sensitivity for Mo during growth peak period, low concentration of Mo should be used during early growth period, and in later growth stage as tobacco leaves shifted to carbon metabolism, high concentration treatments of Mo should be used.By comparison with the treatments of different amino acid, each treatment increased the NR activity. The invertase activity in vigorous growing period arranged as:low concentration>high concentration>contrast, and high concentration treatments during mature stage and growing period led to the highest enzyme activities.3. Effects of spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on PAL Activity and aroma constituents. During the maturity and growing period high concentration treatments of Zn led to high PAL activity, and in growth stage high concentration treatments increased the content of hypoglycemia compounds by 22.8% compared with contrast ,and the growth was obvious;the treatments of different Mo had the same results and hypoglycemia compounds contentment of each treatment were obviously lower than that in contrast ; in vigorous growing period treatment of high concentration amino acid could increase the activity of PAL continuously and efficiently, but the effect of increasing the hypoglycemia compounds contentment was limited.4. Effects of spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on LOX activity and aroma constituents. LOX activity of low concentration treatment was higher than that of high concentration treatment and contrast, but the contentment of hypoglycemia compounds was opposite;low concentration treatment of Mo had momentary cessation of increasing LOX activity ,and high concentration treatment had high persistence, and the effect of spraying Mo twice during maturity or growing period would be better, in later growth stage foliar spraying Mo was more beneficial to the degradation and transformation of chlorophyll, but not to the accumulation of carotene. The result of the treatments of different amino acid showed that spraying high concentration of anion acid once in growth stage was beneficial to increase the LOX activity ,while twice would control its activity .The effect of spraying high concentrations of amino acid in vigorous growing period on LOX activity presented the trend of the falling first and going up afterwards ,and the total contents of pigments aroma constituents were significantly higher than that of contrast and other treatments.5. Effects of spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on chemical components. The treatment of foliar spraying Zn and Mo in maturity period showed high absorption efficiency, but the spraying of phenylalanine did not cause the individual increment and excessive accumulation of phenylalanine in tobacco and most of amino acid contents increased in varying degrees. A comprehensive evaluation was made on different treatments in different periods by using the method of principal component analysis. The results showed that the best Zn treatment was the high concentration in growing period, while using high concentration in maturing stage was better than using low concentration in growing period;the best phenylalanine spraying treatment was the high concentration treatment in vigorous growing period. 6. Effects of spraying Zn,Mo and amino acid on aroma constituents of tobacco leaf.Spraying high concentration of Zn twice in growth stage could increase the content of aroma constituents of flue-cured tobacco, meanwhile the content of lipid aroma constituents was largest increased, followed by that of other categories, pigments, hypoglycemia compounds;Mo could oriented increase the content of neophytadiene in tobacco, but would influence the accumulation of other aroma constituents;Foliar spraying amino acid could promote the quality of fragrance of tobacco, but it had strong selectivity for the concentration and the period.Foliar spraying high concentration of amino acid once during the vigorous growing period had the best adaptability.
