Prolactin (prolactin, PRL)is a peptide hormone, the main by the anterior pituitary lactotrophs (milk nutrition) cells, are growth hormone/prolactin family. Many biological functions of prolactin, growth and reproduction of animals closely related to mammalian lactation, litter and other production performance has an important role. Placental prolactin (Placental Laetogen, PL) present in many mammals, is a simple protein hormone produced by the placenta. Its also a growth hormone/prolactin family. Now that ruminant PL in the maintenance of pregnancy, maternal intermediary metabolism, fetal development, breast development, the maintenance of lactation and ovarian and other similar alcohols play a role in the process.Thus these two hormones are considerable importance for the performance of ruminant milk and reproductive performance of the control.In this experiment, PCR-SSCP method of analysis of the 217 individual goats PRL and PL gene SNPs, and to explore their Tianfu sheep of different genotypes and lactation milk yield, litter size and other related indicators of relevance, The results are as follows:PRL gene in exon 5 of 576 C→A mutation occurs,to detect A, B 2 alleles and the AA,AB,BB 3 genotypes.Tianfu goat,Chengdu Ma goat, Boer goat and Nanjiang Yellow goat A allele frequencies were 0.760,0.539,0.744 and 0.738;B allele frequencies were 0.240,0.461,0.256 and 0.262.According to the testing of all individuals from the two alleles, A allele was dominant allele. According to the Equilibirum analysis of Hardy-Weinberg for PRL gene in four goat breeds,the results indicated that Texel goat was significantly biased from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P<0.01).Tianfu goat of different genotypes and lactation milk yield, litter size correlation analysis showed that:AA genotype, the average initial production Tianfu goat litter size than AB and BB genotypes were genotype more than 0.23 and 0.24, reaching a significant level (P<0.01);AA genotype Tianfu goat produced an average litter size than by the genotype AB and BB genotypes were more than 0.22 and 0.39, also reached a significant level(P<0.01).PRL gene exon 5 amplified fragments of three kinds of genotypes and Tianfu meat sheep lactation milk yield of the least squares mean of the general laws of correlation is AA> AB>BB,but either first class or by the production,AA genotype of the milk yield was significantly higher than BB genotype (P<0.01).PL gene in exon 2 of 208 T→G mutation department has detected C, D 2 alleles, and CC,CD,DD 3 genotypes.Tianfu sheep, goat, Boer goat and Nanjiang Yellow goat C allele frequencies were 0.530,0.447,0.526 and 0.550;D allele frequencies were 0.470,0.553,0.474 and 0.450.Detection of individuals from all terms,except in Chengdu Ma goat allele frequency of D allele of an edge, the other species are C allele frequency of an edge.For test and least square analysis showed, PL exon 2 sequence of three kinds of genotypes Tianfu goat production and the average first litter size by producing both the overall trend is CC>CD>DD, which primiparous litter size in three kinds of genotypes was not significant (P> 0.05),while goat in by the middle of CC genotype in Tianfu goat was significantly higher than the DD genotype (P<0.05).PL exon 2 sequence of the 3 genotypes of Tianfu goat production and the average first lactation milk production by the production relations are as follows:For the first production of goat, the Tianfu DD genotype goat production milk was significantly higher than the CC genotype and the CD genotype (P<0.01), CD genotype than CC genotype, but the difference was not significant (P> 0.05); for by the production of sheep, the sheep 3 Tianfu genotypes of lactation milk yield of the overall relationship CD> CC> DD,significant difference (P<0.01).In general, individuals with D allele higher lactation milk yield.Therefore,the initial guess can be PRL and PL genes may control the growth performance of goats or a major gene in close linkage with the markers.
