The purpose of this study is to investigate the oxidation of konjac glucomannan (OKGM) effect of the immune function.300 mice were divided intoâ… ,â…¡,â…¢,â…£,â…¤five major groups by randomly grouping method, each major group had 60 mice. Groupâ… , will be used to the test for ConA-induced lymphocyte transformation and the NK cell activity; Groupâ…¡will be used to the test of DTH; Groupâ…¢will be used to the test of carbon clearance; Groupâ…£will be used to the test of organ/body weight ratio determination, antibody producing cells and serum hemolysin test; Groupâ…¤will be used to the test of mouse peritoneal macrophages chicken red blood cells. Each large group was randomLy divided into six experimental groups,10 mice per group. That the low dose group (0.075g/kg), middle dose group (0.75g/kg), high dose group (2.25g/kg), konjac gum control group (2.25g/kg), the health food amino acids in the positive control group and the distilled water negative control group. Experimental mice in each group were fed by gavage way to sample the daily gavage 1, stomach capacity 0.2mL/10g mb, negative control group, equal volume of distilled water irrigation, the positive control group fed the same volume of direct amino acid oral solution, continuous 30d. The mice were measured indicators of immune function, test results are as follows:Weight gain in mice, and spleen/body weight ratio and thymus/body weight ratio in the low, middle and high dose group and konjac gum group, positive control and negative control group showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).OKGM no effect on delayed type hypersensitivity in mice. OKGM on ConA-induced spleen lymphocyte transformation test of the impact, the high dose group and konjac gum group and the positive control group compared with the negative control group were significantly different (P<0.01), while in the low dose group (P=0.292> 0.05) compared with the negative control group no significant difference, so it is concluded that OKGM can enhance ConA-induced lymphocyte transformation capability.Antibody-producing cells in the low, middle and high dose group and konjac gum group and the positive control group compared with the negative control group were highly significant differences (P<0.01), determine OKGM mice can promote the formation of antibody-producing cells. Anti volume number in the low dose group and konjac gum group, positive and negative control group showed no significant difference (P> 0.05), while in middle and high dose group and negative control groups were compared were significantly different (P<0.01), so it is concluded that the number of hemolysis on serum (blood clotting method) test result was positive.Carbon clearance test in mice at low, medium and high dose group, konjac gum group and positive group compared with the negative control group showed significant difference (P<0.01), and the phagocytic index showed a significant dose effect. So it is concluded that mouse m6nocyte-macrophage clearance function test result of carbon-positive.Mouse macrophage chicken red blood cells that:phagocytic rate and phagocytic index in the high dose group, positive dose group compared with the control group were highly significant differences (P<0.01), while the low dose group and konjac gum group and negative control group, no significant difference (P> 0.05). So it is concluded that OKGM on macrophage phagocytosis ability of chicken red blood test result was positive.NK cell activity in the low, middle and high dose group and konjac gum group, positive control group compared with the negative control group were significantly different (P<0.01), so it is concluded that the results of NK cell activity were positive.Observed in spleen tissue sections of each dose group and the positive control group larger splenic corpuscle, white pulp area increases, the number of lymphocytes increased, density increased. Especially in the high dose group was most distinct.Observed in liver sections of each dose group and positive control group had more liver cells in the phenomenon of dual-core, and with the dose increased, with the high dose group liver nuclei become larger, thicker chromatin particle, dual-core phenomenon and mitotic outstanding performance, cell pulp slightly granular degeneration, indicating that the test drug can improve the liver microcirculation, increase blood flow to the liver, and bring some of the factors promoting liver regeneration.Histological examination of thymus to high-dose group, middle dose group and the positive control group of thymic corpuscles increased lymphocyte density increased, the number of thymic corpuscles increased. The performance of low-dose group was followed. Description OKGM the development of the thymus have a good role in promoting a positive result on the body immune function.The results show that oxidation of konjac glucomannan can enhanced the immune function.
