In this experiment, 60 meat sheep with an initial body weight of 30.9±3.2kg were randomly divided into 4 groups, and each group had 15 sheep[0]. The sheep of control group were fed a basal diet. The sheep of groupⅠ, groupⅡand groupⅢwere fed a basal diet supplemented with 0.03%, 0.06%, and 0.09% Allium Mongolicum Regel polysaccharide respectivelly. The experiment lasted for 60-day with a 15-day adaptation period. At age of 0 day, 15 days, 30 days, 45 days and 60 days, blood samples were taken randomly, and at age of 60 days, live thymus were separated from above killed sheep to detected that the effects of Allium Mongolicum Regel Polysaccharide on the antioxidation function activity in serum and liver. The results showed that:(1)During the period of 0-15 days, each experimental groups had no significantly effect on the activity of T-SOD,T-AOC,ACP and the content of IgM,IL-2, IL-6 in serum(p>0.05). The activities of GSH-px and CAT in serum ofⅡgroup were higher than those of control group (P<0.05). The contents of lysozyme, lgG and the number of CD4+ ofⅢgroup were higher than those of control group (P<0.05). the contents of MDA and the number of CD8+ of control group were higher thanⅢgroup (P<0.05) and other experimental groups(p>0.05).(2)During the period of 15-30 days, each experimental groups had no significantly effect on the activity of T-SOD, ACP and the content of IL-2 in serum(p>0.05). The activity of GSH-px and the content of lgG, IL-6, lysozymeⅢgroup were increased significantly (P<0.05). Through the number of CD4+ was increased , the ratio of CD4+ /CD8+ had be enhanced(P<0.05). Meanwhile, the content of MDA ofⅢgroup were decreased significantly (P<0.05).(3)During the period of 30-45 days, each experimental groups had no significantly effect on the activity of T-AOC,ACP and the content of MDA,IgG and lysozyme(p>0.05). Effect on the activity of the activity of T-SOD, GSH-px, CAT and the content of IL-2, IL-6, IgM and the number of CD4+, CD8+(P<0.05) were significantly inⅢgroup. The number of CD4+(P<0.05) were decreased significantly inⅡgroup. (4)During the period of 45-60 days, each experimental groups had no significantly effect on the content of CAT and the number of CD4+, CD8+(p>0.05). Compared with the control group, the activity of T-SOD, GSH-px, T-AOC, ACP and the content of IL-2, IL-6 and lysozyme were increased significantly inⅢgroup(P<0.05). Meanwhile, the content of MDA were decrcased significantly inⅢgroup (P<0.05).(5)Each experimental groups had no significantly effect on liver antioxidation function activity and the content of lgA in serum. The study indicated that the addition of some dosage of Allium Mongolicum Regel Polysaccharide could enhance the activity of antioxidant enzymes in serum and liver and reduce the content of lipid peroxidation in vivo to enhance the body's antioxidant capacity. Allium Mongolicum Regel Polysaccharide could enhance the content of IL-2, IL-6, IgG and IgM in serum , improve the number of CD4+and the ratio of CD4+ /CD8+, and increase the content of ACP and lysozyme to enhance animal immunologic function.
