Eight Alfalfa male sterile lines by means of backcross breeding and four afalfal materials with better characters were used as female and male parent.Firstly,an experimental hybrid production were carried out under open and megachile pollination;Secondly,F1 forage yield,Photosynthetic and Combining Ability were analyzed by way of incomplete diallel cross (NCII) design,Finally, male Sterile Line of high seed production yield and combining ability were selected, and it provide the basis for high yield and quality of hybrid alfalfa。The main results were as follows:(1) Megachile pollination could Effectively improve male sterile lines of alfalfa seed yield (33.66%); integrated seed production two pollination, sterile No. 2 seed yield of per plant was highest (3.16 g).(2) General combining ability were greater than specific combining ability in the major yield characters, explained additive effeets were more important than non-additive effect。among which No. 2,10,11,12 of male sterile lines of alfalfa had general combining ability, integrated seed yield,the2×II,2×III,10×IVdetermined by strong superiority crosses, further integration of quality analysis, combination 2×II were selected for high yield and high quality(hay yield 43.85g / strains, crude protein 24.07%).(3) At the branching stage, the curves of diurnal variation in Pn of cross combinations varieties leaves had two peaks , and an different degree midday depression at 13:00o'clock , based on the tendency of changes in Pn , Ci, Ls, 2×II,13×IV were speculated that the midday depression Cross Combinations was controlled by not stomatal factor, other cross combinations were controlled by stomatal factor;hay yield of cross combinations and pn wue were significantly Correlation(R≧0.8692).
