| Considering the conventional feeding way for delivered sows with drawbacks of simple and crude equipments, high-strength laboring of workers and poor production efficiency, as well as the drawbacks of feed screw-type gauging and weight-type gauging device of the traditional automatic feeding system, an automatic feeding system for delivered sows has been developed in this paper. The system consists of an upper-computer display, a lower-computer execution control as well as an upper-lower computer communication. The main results and conclusions obtained are as follows:1) Design on the hardware of the system. A type of Geneva-wheel material feeding device was designed and manufactured. It was installed and checked virtually in software SolidWorks.2) Design on the software of the system. The sofeware consists of an upper computer, a lower computer and a communication program. The control program was developed in software STEP7-Micro/WIN32 and the King of the Configuration 6.51, realized the communication between the upper computer and the lower computer.3) Experimental validation. The other hardware needed in the system was designed and whole system was installed. Finally, the validation tests were performed, proved that the feeding accuracy of the proposed system is within 15%, which can satisfy the demand of the precision feeding system for deliverd sows. |
