| The feeding data acquisition part is very important for the breeder precision feeding system. In order to get the information data of the breeder individual feeding behavior we designed this sub-system. It use strain gauge and commercial load cell as the weight sensors. An analog-to-digital converter change the signal amplified by the electronical amplifiers into binary information. The data from analog-to-digital converter will be sent to the IBM compatible PC through the serial port, which transport through RS-485 and RS-232C serial communication protocol transformed by the interface adapter. All the data received by the IBM compatible PC will be realtime processed by the program of PC software programmed with Visual Basic 6.0. The system communication is realized by serial communication in master-slave computer mode. The communication adapter is the connector between the PC and the 8 monitors. We can identify exactly the breeder individual through the radio frequency 1C card technology. So we can get the intake and other information of freely feeding behavior of the breeder individual. This dissertation introduced the main structure and work method of the system including the main design of electric part and PC software program, Furthermore, the system communication part is introduced the interface adapter design. The PC interface software programmed in Visual Basic 6.0 realize the main functions comprised the data's take-over, display, store, procession and analysis etc.The subject is designed on basis of low cost and high reliability. In the design, the microcontroller which exploiture environment is mature is the core of the monitor and AT89C55 is the CPU of the monitor. It doesn't extend RAM and ROM, increasing the reliability largely. Microprocessor's I/O interface chip is the latest serial interface chip. Comparing with the traditional parallel interface chips, they have fewer pins, smaller volume and use fewer resources. Therefore, multiple channel data selecting control, keyboard, display and alarm are realized through AT89C55's I/O interface, without extending other I/O interface, making the system simplified and reliability increased. C language is used in microprocessor program. It is a structural program design language, which not only has many advanced languages' character but also owns assembly language's function. The software compiled by C language can decrease design course greatly and increase the efficiency and readability of program, which is convenient to be improved and extended in order to develop bigger scale and get better capability system.The concerted system work stably in debugging and attain the plan aim.
