Using apple pomace and through rumen digestion experiment, feeding experiment and laboratory analyses, general nutient compsition, rumen digestible rate of different apple pomace silages were analysed and the effects on the performanc, milk compsition, blood biochemical index and PH of the rumen fluid in Guanzhong dairy goats and the effects of dried apple pomace on the the performanc, milk compsition, blood biochemical index in Holstian milk cows were studied. This research was made up of three independent experiments as follows:Experiment No.1:Through senory evaluation of apple pomace, apple pomace and hay mixed silage, apple pomace and corn stalk mixed silage, apple pomace and wheat stalk mixed silage and corn stalk silage, general analyses of the nutient composition in silage and determination of rumen digestible rate of CP, NDF and ADF by nylon bag method in 5 type of silage, the nutriention value of apple poamce silage was evaluated. The result was as followings:1. Senory evaluation of all type of silage was fine and might be used in animal feeding;2. The nutient composition of apple pomace silage was slightly lower than corn silage and mixed silage could increase the nutrition value;3.Available rumen digestible rate of CP in apple pomace silage was higher than in corn stalk silage and 3 mixed apple pomace silages;Available rumen digestible rate of NDF among different silage was basically consistent, but the ADF in apple pomace silage was significantly higher than in other 4 treatments (P<0.01).Experiment No.2:By single rondomized block desgin, selected 25 of Guanzhong dairy goats in 5 groups were fed corn stalk silage, apple pomace and hay mixed silage, apple pomace and corn stalk mixed silage , apple pomace and wheat stalk mixed silage and apple pomace silage to evaluate the effecs on the performanc, bodywight ,milk compsition, blood biochemical index and PH of the rumen fluid in Guanzhong dairy goats. The result was as followings:1.There was a decreasing trend in apple pomace and wheat stalk mixed silage treatment and increasing trends in other 3 mixed silage compared whith corn stalk mixed silage, but all the differences were not significant(P>0.05).2. .There was a decreasing trend in all treatments and there was a significant difference between corn stalk mixed silage and corn stalk silage(P<0.05);Contents of lactoprotein and milk sugur were not affected by different silage.3. Corn stalk mixed silage and apple pomace silage had a function to increasing and maintaining bodywight, but there no significant differences among treatments (P>0.05).4.There were no differences of BUN ,GLU, Total protein and TG of blood biochemical index in the Guanzhong dairy goats among treatments(P>0.05).5.All of silages containing apple pomace had significantly an effect ofdecreasing the rumen PH and the changing trend order was hay mixed silage > apple pomace > corn stalk mixed silage > apple pomace and wheat stalk mixed silage corn stalk silage (P<0.01)Experiment No.2:Though a single rondomized block desgin, 20 Holstian milk cows selected and divided rondomly into 5 groups with same daily milk yield, milck days and bodywight (P>0.05) were fed 5 type of ration added 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 35% of air dried apple pomace to replacing part of concentrate feed to evaluate the effecs on the performanc, milk compsition, blood biochemical index of Holstian milk cows. The result was as followings:1.There a significant effect of increasing and maintaining milck capability of Holstian milk cows been found in 20% of air-dried apple pomace treatment (P<0.05)and the 30% treatment could increas the sustainable milcking capability in mid milcking stage, but treatments of 10% and35% had no or a negtive effect.2.There were no significant effect of adding air-dried apple pomace in ration on the milk composition and blood biochemical index of Holstian milk cows in mid milcking stage(P>0.05).
