1. To study the effect of different levels of adding betaine (0, 800, 1000 mgkg-1 respectively) and alfalfa saponin(0, 1500,2500mgkg-1 respectively) to corn soybean diets on production performance, biochemical indicator,microbe in intestines,immunity cell in weanling pigs. The experiment lasted for 28 days . The result showed:(1) Growth:Betaine and alfalfa saponin significantly increased average daily feed intake in the test pigs compared with that in the control group (p<0.05), and sigficant interaction effects between betaine and alfalfa saponin (p<0.05). There were significant interaction effects between betaine and alfalfa saponin for average daily gain and feed efficiency(p<0.05). Eight test feed intake and average daily increased more than that in the control group, but feed efficiency were lower than that in the control group at the end of the test. As a whole, the complex adding group 800mg/kg+2500mg/kg group was the best on gowth performance in the test.(2) Physio-biochemical:The interaction effects for blood serum BUN,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,ALB and GH were significant manifest(p<0.05). There were no for interaction TG,TP and IGF-I (p>0.05). In content of BUN and TC,test eighth group(800 mg /kg betaine+2500 mg/kg alfalfa saponin) is the best,and with the control group to compare remarkable reduces(p<0.05). Blood serum LDL-C of the 2500 mg/kg alfalfa saponin was significant manifest compared with that in the control group (p<0.05). The complex adding group was better than the single group. There were significant effects of The complex adding group for blood serum GH(p<0.05).(3)The effect for microbe in intestines:The fifth group was the best which contained the most lactobacilli and the fifth,eighth and ninth group have sigficant difference with the control group. The index of Bacillus bifidus in the more complex adding group and other trial groups was higher than the control group and has sigficant difference except the second,forth and seventh group(p<0.05) .however,the index of Escherichia coli in the control group was higher than the control group and has sigficant difference except the second,third and forth group(p<0.05) .The index of salmonella of the control group was higher than the other groups and the sixth,eighth and ninth group has sigficant difference with the control group.Each test group compares with the control group to reduce on diarrhoea rate ,the test eighth group(800 mg /kg betaine+2500 mg/kg alfalfa saponin) is the best.。(4)Immune Function:There were no ignificant effects of interaction on the T Lymphocyte of blood and immunity apparatus,IgA and IgM between Betaine and alfalfa saponin. There were significant effects of interaction on the IgG,the test seventh group. T Lymphocyte of blood and immunity apparatus in each test group increased than that in the control group.The more alfalfa saponin group was better than the other test group.Synthetically,the single group adding group was better than. the complex. The 2500 mg/kg alfalfa saponin group was the best on the T Lymphocyte and the IgG.
