| As a rare traditional Chinese medicinal materials with strict growing environment, Chinese Caterpillar Fungus posses prominent pharmacological functions,which aggravating the contradiction between Cordyceps and human and now we are all hammering at replacing it by the mycelium of anamorphic strains of Cordyceps through liquid fermentation. In order to make full use of the anamorphic strains of Cordyceps in our lab, Isaria cicadae, Paecilomyces gunnii and Acremonium terricola were studied under the conditions of mixed culture in this paper.According to our previous study, three Isaria cicadae strains and two Paecilomyces gunnii strains with needed composition and prominent medical activity were chosen for the present study.Compatibility between Isaria cicadae, Paecilomyces gunnii and Acremonium terricola were studied by the confrontation culture, with the results that different strains of same specices not only have significant differences in morphological, but also different impact with the same fungi in the confrontation culture. sparse, atrophic and anamorphic mycelium can be seen in the confrontation culture, and none of these can be found between P2, P5,P6 and Acremonium terricola.Adenosine, ergosterol, mannitol, polysaccharide and free radical scavenging rates of the mycelium from liquid culture of Acremonium terricola were detected and compared, the results revealed that biomass, ergosterol contents, mannitol contents and free radical scavenging rates were increased under the conditions of mixed with P2. So we choose P2, P5 and Acremonium terricola for further studies.Growth curves of three anamorphic strains of Cordyceps under the conditions of mixed culture and pure culture were carried out, three different curves were exist and the growth curves of Acremonium terricola under the conditions of mixed culture are very similar to its pure culture. Higher biomass, ergosterol contents, mannitol contents and free radical scavenging rates of the mycelium mixed culture with P2 were validated and none predominance can be found mixed culture with P5.The result of study showed that the addition of fermentation broth of P2 can improve the biomass of Acremonium terricola comparing to the medium sole did and vice versa, and a special white material which exist in the pure culture of Acremonium terricola was vanish when the fermentation broth of P2 was added. We can not find those same infections between P5 and Acremonium terricola. We concluded that the relationship between P2 and Acremonium terricola was synergism, and the relationship between P5 and Acremonium terricola was neutralism. |
