| A swine high fever disease accompanied by high fever, anhelation and abortion, happened in a Shanghai pig farm at June 2007 and the morbility and mortality rate was 50% and 20% respectively. The major Symptom clinical features were high fever, sialosis, coarse-haired, diarrhea and nerve damage, and partly pregnant sow exhibited abortion, dying fetus and mummy. Sick pigs were diagnosed by clinical general inspection and ELISA preliminary detection, the results show that this farm was severity impaired by wild pestivirus suis infection, and the immunity effect of PRRSV and pestivirus suis did not reach the qualified level. However, the positive rate of pseudorabies suis immunity effect was 100%, and suggested that this farm not only infected pestivirus suis, but also may mixed infected other several pathogenies. Purtenanee samples had been detected and pathogen isolation had been conducted in this research. By ELISA tentative diagnosis and RT-PCR, the pathogeny had been idenfied as PRRSV and pestivirus suis. Prevention measures for the large scale pig farm had been offered by establishing reasonable immunity procedure. |
