For the purpose to further recognize the details of muscular distribution in corpus ventriculi, and provide the morphologic evidence for the mid-gastric transverse band, To study the feature of muscular layer on stomach corpus ventriculi based on the gross anatomy and motility results in vivo, fallen corpus ventriculi into three groups: upper part of corpus ventriculi, upper boarder of sector-formed, and lower boarder of sector-formed, take sample from greater curvature, lesser curvature, facies parietalis and facies visceralis, and using paraffin embedded histological section, observed the muscular pattern of stomach corpus ventriculi in rabbit, pig and dog. Suggest that:Longitudinal muscle, circular muscle and oblique muscle composed with stomach tract of corpus ventriculi. From another point of view, greater curvature include both Longitudinal muscle and circular muscle, lesser curvature, facies parietalis and facies visceralis include longitudinal muscle, circular muscle and oblique muscle. The muscular thickness of different segment showed distinct discrepancy. Muscular layer of upper part of corpus ventriculi thicker than that of sector-formed.The thickness and ratio to longitudinal of collagenous fibres be decreased , with spread From upper part of corpus to sector-formed; the orientation of collagenous fibres changed from discursive to regular and longitudinal range.Longitudinal and circular muscular bundle in upper part of corpus ventriculi showed the ided form pattern in three animals. Which can be observed on sector-formed in dog, rabbit and dog without this pattern. In incissura angularis, circular muscle in LC about rabbit formed muscle-fold by projected to gastric cavity; this muscle-fold formed by OM in pig. Which composed with mucosa, submucous, and muscular layer. In sector formed parts, thinner and simple pattern of each muscle layer compared to upper corpus ventriculis and pylorus, and strong collagenous fibre, which served as an important morphologic foundation to turn right, and maintain the contracted features. The sector could have close relationship with the concept of mid-gastric transversal band...
